If your child likes to invent, imagine, create, build, or engineer, they’ll have fun at this chain reaction machine workshop! Chain reaction machines, also known as Rube Goldberg machines, are quirky contraptions that rely on a comical series of energy transfers to accomplish a simple task. Think Mousetrap, domino trains, etc. Momentix toys provides the hard-to-build pieces that allow you to connect old toys, recycled objects, and features of the environment into a Rube Goldberg machine. This workshop starts small and builds big as kids practice ideating, building, and testing a chain reaction machine. Give your kids a chance to get better at solving problems by having the chance to practice!

From the creator of Secret Mall Apartment (Netflix) and Lily Topples the World (HBO), parts of this workshop will be filmed and included in an upcoming documentary on Rube Goldberg machines. There is also an option to participate without you or your child's face being shown.

A waiver must be signed in order to appear in the documentary.
